Aurys ready-to-use green clay can be used as a beauty mask or poultice to benefit both skin and body. Absorbent, purifying and regenerating, Aurys ready-to-use green clay is particularly well-suited for combination and oily skin. It helps absorb and regulate excess sebum, eliminate toxins and impurities, revitalize skin and promote cell renewal. It is also antiseptic and softening. Extremely rich in micro-nutrients, it provides minerals and trace elements for the skin and body. Aurys green clay, with its healing and remineralizing properties, can relieve joint and muscle pain, burns, sore throats (when combined with lavender essential oil), abscesses, scars, skin irritations, as well as bloating and other stomach aches.

TIPS

As a beauty mask: Apply a thick layer of clay paste to the face and neck, avoiding the eye and lip contours. Leave on for around 10 minutes, without letting the mask dry on the skin. Rinse off with lukewarm water and dry skin with a cotton towel. Follow with a moisturizing cream.
As a cataplasm: Place the clay paste on a natural fabric and spread with a non-metallic spatula to a thickness of 2-3 cm. Lay the poultice, leaving the clay in direct contact with the skin, and hold it loosely in place with a bandage. If the poultice is to be applied to an irritated area, interpose a light gauze between the clay and the skin. Leave the poultice on for at least an hour. To remove, remove as much clay as possible, if necessary by moistening, then rinse the skin with lukewarm water and dry with a cotton towel.
