Candelilla wax

Candelilla wax comes from the Euphorbia cerifera shrub native to northern Mexico. It is a very hard and brittle wax with a fairly high melting point (70°C). These properties are appreciated making various cosmetic products, particularly lipsticks. It can also be used in candle making to strengthen tapers.
