Decyl glucoside

Decyl glucoside is a plant-based surfactant derived from sugar and coconut oil. As a foaming agent, it is often incorporated in very mild cleansing products, such as shampoo, cleansing milk, body wash, and so on.

Decyl glucoside is environmentally friendly, both in terms of its manufacturing process and its biodegradability.

It can be used to disperse essential oils in the bathtub (put 20 to 25 drops of essential oil in 1 tablespoon of decyl glucoside, and you’ll have a generous lather, guaranteed!)
