Geogard ECT

This preservative, also known as “Eco Preservative,” is a unique combination of benzyl alcohol, salicylic acid, glycerin, and sorbic acid.

This antimicrobial agent provides broad-spectrum protection against bacteria, yeasts, and molds in a wide range of cosmetic products at various pH levels.

INCI: Benzyl Alcohol, Salicylic Acid, Glycerin, Sorbic Acid

• Water-soluble
• Low odor and color
• pH compatibility: pH 3 to 8
• Recommended usage rate: 0.6 to 1%

Example: Add 1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon of Geogard ECT to 150 g of cream, lotion, or hydrosol.
