Hyaluronic acid low molecular weight (< 6000 Daltons)

Low-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid (<6,000 Daltons) offers highly effective anti-aging care because it can penetrate and deeply rehydrate the skin. The powder is dissolved in part of the aqueous phase at room temperature before being incorporated into a face cream formula. It can also be used in the formulation of a serum, but thickening agents must be included because, unlike high-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid, it does not form a gel when dissolved in water.
