Calcium carbonate

White powder of mineral origin. An exceptional ingredient when making natural toothpaste.

NATURAL TOOTHPASTE RECIPE

• 50 gr aloe vera gel
• 15 gr glycerin
• 1/8 tsp. guar gum (or a small pinch of xanthan gum)
• 15 gr of white clay
• 45 gr of calcium carbonate
• 5 gr of baking soda
• 5 gr of fractionated coconut oil
• 20 drops of essential oil of spearmint (Mentha spicata)
• 20 drops of essential oil of field mint (Mentha arvensis)

Put the first 3 ingredients in a cup. Mix to dissolve the guar gum well (if you use xanthan gum, heat a little to dissolve the gum). Add the other ingredients and mix until a homogeneous texture is obtained.
