Potassium hydroxide

POTASSIUM HYDROXIDE (KOH)

Also called caustic potash. It is used in the manufacturing of liquid soaps and is made by electrolysing potassium chloride.

Caution: Very dermocaustic product. In case of accidental burn, sponge using vinegar. The acidity in vinegar will neutralize potassium hydroxide’s alkalinity.
