Methylcobalamin Ultra – 60 tablets of 15 mg
Helps prevent vitamin B12 deficiency
Methylcobalamin is the active coenzyme of vitamin B12. Cyanocobalamin, the most common form of B12 supplement, must first be converted to hydroxocobalamin and then to adenosylcobalamin, which is finally converted to methylcobalamin. Since cyanocobalamin must undergo this thorough conversion process, supplementation with methylcobalamin is optimal because it is the specific form of B12 needed to support the brain and nervous system. In humans, supplementation with high doses of methylcobalamin has been shown to be effective for neurological support in people with degenerative diseases such as paralysis, multiple sclerosis, Bell’s palsy, Lou Gehrig’s disease and degenerative spinal conditions. Methylcobalamin can also help normalize sleep-wake cycles, providing better quality sleep for some people.
Methylcobalamin AOR provides 15 mg in lozenge form, easy to take for those with neurological disorders or nervous problems. This very high-dose formula has been shown to be safe for people with advanced neurological disorders such as ALS or MS. Vegetarians, the elderly, people with pernicious or megaloblastic anemia, atrophic gastritis, celiac disease, Crohn’s disease, or other types of inflammatory gastrointestinal disorders may benefit from this high dose of methylcobalamin.
