Part used: fruit rind (cold expression)

Origin: South Africa

Albeit its green colour, this essence comes from yellow lemons harvested at an early stage of ripening.

Organoleptically, the smell is pleasant, fresh, zesty and a little more “exotic” than its Italian equivalent.

Properties: anticoagulant, potentially anti-tumor, bactericidal (Streptococcus), calming, hepato-protective, hepato-stimulant (phase II of the detoxification process), hypotensive, litholytic, lymph tonic, phlebotonic, digestive tonic, viricide

Indications: poor digestion (hepatic and digestive insufficiency), anal fissures, hemorrhoids, herpes, blood hyperviscosity, insomnia/nightmares, varicose veins

Contraindications: photosensitizing oil: Avoid any sun exposure for 5 hours after applying on skin.
