Ingredients for the manufacture of soaps

Sodium lactate, presented in granular form, is a salt of sodium and lactic acid produced by the fermentation of sugars. Used in the manufacture of soaps, it is an additive that allows easy removal from the mould. In addition, it reduces drying time and gives a perfectly smooth finish.

Use: For 450 grams of oil/butter, dissolve about 1 tsp. of sodium lactate in water before adding sodium hydroxide.
